Your models never leave your device

When you open a 3D model, your browser reads the file straight off your computer and does all the work there: the shape, the bricks, the colors, the build guide, the parts list. Nothing about the file is sent anywhere — not the model, not its name, not a thumbnail of it. Close the tab and it is gone.

That is also true of the demo models and anything you export. The CSV and the pictures you save are written by your browser, to your device.

No account, and no cookies

There is nothing to sign up for, no password, and no advertising. BrickSolvr sets no cookies at all.

A few small settings are saved in your browser's own storage so the app feels the same next time. They stay on your device and are never sent to us:

• the colors you picked and any names you gave them
• whether you like hex, RGB or HSL in the color picker
• that you have already seen the step by step guide, so it doesn't ask twice
• a plain count of how many models you have converted, and whether we've already offered you the update emails — so we only ask once

Clearing your browsing data for this site removes all of it.

Anonymous usage counts

We count how the app is used, so we know what to improve. It is done with Umami, which uses no cookies and builds no profile of you.

What that records is which pages were opened, which links were followed, and simple things like "a model was converted" or "the guide was opened" — including the settings a build was made with, such as how many studs wide it was and how many colors it used. With it goes the general information every website sees anyway: your country, and the kind of browser and screen you're on. What it never records is your model, its file name, the colors or names you chose, anything else you typed, or anything that identifies you personally.

The update emails

If you ask to hear about new features, we save your email address, the date, and which page you asked from. That's all — no name, no anything else. It is kept on our own storage at Cloudflare and is never sold, shared or handed to an advertiser.

You get a couple of emails a month at most, and only about BrickSolvr. Every one has an unsubscribe link, or you can write to support@bricksolvr.com and we'll remove you and delete the address.

You choose what to share

Feedback is only ever sent when you send it. The form under Contact & feedback writes the message in your browser and then opens it, ready to post, on GitHub — nothing is sent until you confirm it there, and what happens after that is covered by GitHub's privacy statement. Emailing us instead shares only what you write in the email.

What the page loads from elsewhere

Two things come from other companies' servers, so your browser does ask them for a file: the analytics script above, and the fonts, which come from Google Fonts with a copy on our own site as a backup. Requests like these carry your IP address, as any request on the web does. Nothing about your model is involved.

The site itself is served by Cloudflare, which keeps short lived security and traffic logs of the kind every website has.
