What you walk away with

Not a picture. A shopping list.

Plenty of things will show you what your model would look like in bricks. BrickSolvr tells you which bricks — every color, every size, every count — so you can go and buy them.

Only own certain colors or sizes? Say so, and the design is built from those — anything it can't cover is listed separately, so there are no surprises halfway through.

Start to finish

Three steps, about a minute.

  1. Drop in your model

Drag an STL, OBJ, GLB or PLY file anywhere on the page. Nothing to hand? Pick one of the demo models and watch it happen.

  2. Set the size and colors

Choose how many studs wide the build should be — bigger means more detail and more bricks. Cap the colors to keep it cheap to buy.

  3. Build it for real

Take the parts list shopping, then follow the step-by-step guide — one layer at a time, until it's standing on your table.

No file handy?

Start with one of these.

Six models are built in. Pick one and you'll have a finished brick design, and its parts list, in a few seconds.

Before you start

Questions people ask.

Which 3D files work?

STL, OBJ, GLB/glTF and PLY. Drop the file anywhere on the page and it loads.

Can I use only the bricks I already own?

Yes. Pick the colors and brick sizes you have, and the design only uses those. Anything they can't cover is listed as missing parts.

Is this made by the LEGO Group?

No. BrickSolvr is an independent tool with no connection to any brick brand. It works with generic stud bricks.

Will the design actually stand up?

Yes. Every design is checked before you see it: nothing is left floating, and weak spots are reinforced, so what you see is something you can really build.

Is my model uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs on your own device, inside the browser. Your file is never sent to a server.

Is it free?

Yes — completely free, with no account and nothing to install. Open it in a browser and start.

Got a model? Let's brick it.

It opens in a second, it's free, and your file stays on your machine.
